FinTech North: Manchester Conference

FinTech North is delighted to announce its sixth-annual Manchester Conference, hosted in partnership with headline sponsors, NCC Group Software Resilience, and brand sponsors MastercardRise, created by BarclaysAccessPay and The University of Manchester, set to take place at Whitworth Hall in Central Manchester, this November 14th.

Armed with a relentless commitment to nurturing innovation, fostering collaboration, and propelling the FinTech sector forward, we’ll be bringing our community together once more to celebrate FinTech excellence in the North of England. We can’t wait to cover a comprehensive and insightful glimpse into the intricate tapestry of FinTech, with Manchester’s scene taking the spotlight.

We’ll hear about national and regional developments in Fintech, as well as keynotes from Mastercard, NCC Group Software Resilience, GFT, Rise, Created by Barclays, CFIT, Innovate Finance, AccessPay and many more. We will also be hosting thought-provoking panel-discussions and our trade mark FinTech showcase to profile the region’s exciting start-ups and scale-ups.

At the conference, we’ll be covering Trust in FinTech and Financial Services – a theme that has cropped up at many a FinTech North event, and one that we’ve wanted to cover in great detail for a while – which is why we’re delighted to be working with world leading software resilience providers, NCC Group Software Resilience as headline sponsors.

We’ll address Trust in FinTech and Financial Services through multiple perspectives, including:

Consumer Duty; a higher standard of consumer protection in financial services, implemented in July 2023 – What does this mean for you and your organisation? How best can you adapt?

Addressing customer centricity

Operational Resilience; similarly with consumer duty – if your organisation gets it wrong, there can be serious consequences – what more could you be doing?

Vulnerability

Insurance and InsurTech

ID Verification

Cyber security
