Sales Operations Analyst

Overview:

This role would provide a range of strategic and tactical support to the Sales and Marketing Teams, ensuring their processes are aligned to enable our teams to be as efficient and effective as they can be.  
 
AccessPay have 2 new business Sales Teams, an SDR (Sales Development Reps) Team, an Account Management Team and a Marketing Team, each of which have differing operational support needs, 
 
Direct Sales Team – Support the acquisition of net new customers. There are 2 separate teams aligned by vertical industry sector, with differing core proposition messaging.   

Account Management Team – Support growing revenues from existing clients through cross sell and upsell. 

SDR Team – Support the creation of new opportunities through a range of direct outreach activities to ultimately generate meetings for the sales team.

Marketing – Supporting the entire customer journey from acquisition to advocate.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supporting operational cadence across all of the sales teams – ensuring consistency across forecasting, pipeline reviews etc. 
  • Producing weekly, monthly, quarterly analytics and business insights for Senior Leadership team.
  • You’re also comfortable with numbers and drawing insights from analytics to adapt and improve our business processes and provide accurate and timely management information, to include – activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts, KPI’s.
  • Lead the annual sales planning process – including territory design, account segmentation, quota setting, headcount management, commission plans and account ownership transition facilitation.
  • Supporting Sales Leadership Team and Head of Sales Enablement with on-going initiatives, call out days and scheduling of training and development. 
  • You will work in close partnership with cross-functional stakeholders in Product, Marketing, Implementation & Customer Success to improve process, systems, tooling and knowledge.

  • You will play a crucial role in the business development process and will work closely with the all of the sales teams (Account Management, New Business & Partner/Channel) proactively managing ‘opportunity creation’ metrics which are used as a leading indicator for success.
  • Ensure deliver consistent high quality reporting across all sales and lead generation channels to provide visibility and helping to inform  on trends and future investments. 

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Sales Operations role, or related (Sales, Program Management, Finance, Consulting, Corporate Strategy).
  • Prior experience with a fast-growth, SaaS / tech company is highly preferred.
  • An understanding of Sales, Marketing and the sales process. 
  • Understanding of the sales methodology, MEDDICC would be useful, but training will be provided.
  • Experience of Salesforce, HubSpot, PowerBI, Refract, ZoomInfo would be beneficial, but training will be provided. 
  • Familiarity with all aspects of business planning and sales execution.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cloud go-to-market models, market expansion strategies, and sales support models.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with board and sales leadership.
  • Proven ability to support business process design and improvement initiatives, automate operational tasks, and prioritize time for high business impact activities.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment. Ability to adjust on the fly to new demands with a sense of urgency.
  • Be highly productive with minimal oversight from senior management. Sets goals and drives to fulfilment, taking responsibility for actions and outcomes.
  • Organizationally savvy – appropriately assertive, yet cool and respectful. 
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. 
  • Demonstrate a strategic attitude, developing sales processes and performance management frameworks that can scale with the business. 
  • Strong written skills, commercial acumen and data-driven with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
